Friday I was able to push Adela to her noon meal and reunite her with Leo Siracusa. Katherine didn't recognize Adela, but Leo did. Adela also recognized the Siracusas. DJ

Marty Johnson turned in the name of the Larry McNamara family who unexpectedly lost a son to death; and Karen Basham turned in the name of Jack Lalumondier who passed away Saturday, Jan. 9. On Sunday, January 3, Grace Presbyterian Church prayed for the following: Karen Schoon, who is on a new regimen of chemo; Don Cavins, who is recovering from kidney stone surgery; Alyse Russell, who is in Jefferson Memorial Hospital: Madelyn Sheltman, who is in palliative care at St. Lukes; and since then, Carolyn Pruneau has added the name of Brian Thompson. Brian has been fighting a lung ailment since mid-October. Presently is back in St. Anthony's facing the possibility of being placed in a coma. His wife died a few months ago and he has a son who is 7-years old. Prayers for the family.

Grace Presbyterian has a long list of people for whom we are praying. Most recently, we have added Ruby Woodring, the aunt of Marcia Dennison. We are also offering prayers for the Raspberry Family in Hillsboro in the loss of Judy Raspberry. We also are praying for our new pastor, Dewey, and his wife, Cheri Johnson as they begin their move to our area. Pastor Dewey will be in the pulpit on November 8.

Cecelia Mangos Cohoon's family for comfort and peace. She died suddenly in her sleep on October 8Th in Nashville, TN. A memorial service was held at Grace on Saturday, Oct.17Th at 11:00 am.

Lillian Manning requests prayer for her friend's mother who had a stroke.

Sally Borgerson requests prayer for her brother, Stanton Thompson, who is scheduled to have radiation treatment for prostate cancer in November and December. He had undergone surgery for the problem in the past.

Pray for our New Pastor Rev.Dewey Johnson and his wife for their move into our community and begin his ministry at Grace on November 8Th.

BETTY BOUCHARD had open-heart surgery on Friday, Aug.14Th at De Paul hospital. The surgery went very well and she is recovering well.

ALYCE RUSSELL is at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. She celebrated her birthday at the hospital. Fran Blaha sent her a small cake and Aline Spence sent her favorite ice cream, Butter pecan, and a number of our members sent her cards.

JIM GWYN is at Barns hospital with a number of health issues. Pray for him and his wife, Carole, for peace, comfort, and healing grace.

DEEDA BURNS is scheduled for surgery on Wed. Aug.6Th and LIP CARTER on September 11Th.
